The hammerhead is made in sterling silver before layers of enamelling are applied to create this visually stunning look. The piece carries full UK hallmarks which is your guarantee that the item is made from sterling silver. A lacquer has been applied to prevent the silver from tarnishing, and the ornament therefore needs minimal cleaning.
